Real ghost stories?

For me, it happened while traveling in India.

I was very young when my mom and I went to India. For me it was the first time visiting that country. Being 16 years old, it was hard for me to understand the mysteries of this ancestral surroundings.

We stayed at a very ancient local hotel (a Rajah´s palace) in Jaipur. Being at that place made the experience somewhat more mysterious.

So there I was one night trying to fall asleep, when suddenly I felt as if someone were watching me. It was inevitable. Then and there I felt chills go down my spine.

In one of the corners of the room, I perceived an obscure presence. But the worst part was when I suddenly got the sensation how it began moving towards me!

Instinctively I turned around on my left side and closed my eyes before the incorporeal being could reach me. I started praying like crazy. What was my surprise when I suddenly felt a physical presence weight down on the bed.

I started to panic!  I tried to get help from my mom who was sleeping on the other bed by my side. But It was impossible! To my utmost astonishment I was totally frozen and unable to utter a single word.

Nonetheless, I kept on praying until I managed to move. It was just silence. There was nothing. No shadow. No presence. Only the natural darkness of the room.

Then and there I finally woke up my mom and told her about the horrifying incident.

Was I stuck in another dimension?

Did it happen because I was in a state between being awake and asleep?

Who knows?

As incredible as it may seem, that happened to me in that unforgettable trip to India.
